Moselle Raises $2.1M CAD in Seed Funding to Make Automated Inventory Management Accessible for All Brands

SMBs like yours make up the vast majority of the CPG market — many of which are bootstrapped. For these brands, maintaining optimal inventory levels is a means of survival.
A 2023 study by IHL Group projects that brands will lose $1.77 trillion in accumulative inventory distortion, disproportionately impacting the market's smaller, fast-growing brands. Yet, almost all the leading inventory management solutions cater to enterprise companies — leaving SMBs with the impossible choice of overpaying for an enterprise-grade IMS or manually managing inventory in spreadsheets.

Today, I'm proud to announce that Moselle has secured $2.1M in seed funding to fuel its mission of uplifting growing consumer brands by streamlining their inventory operations.
This round was led by world-class venture capital firms AQC Capital and MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund, with participation from True, Rebellion Ventures, Highline Beta, Top Knot Ventures, and Singh Capital.

And because we believe actions speak louder than words, we've already launched a new automated inventory forecasting, production planning, and purchasing suite that empowers our customers to manage inventory more efficiently.
Over the last 18 months, Moselle merchants — including Fable, AeroPress, and Sahajan — have already purchased $50M+ in inventory value, saving thousands of dollars and up to 100 hours per month.
